The Hayhay Brothers
From Tadeco to the National Stage
For the Hayhay brothers, football has been more than a game, it has been a pathway to opportunity.
Christian Lee Hayhay and his younger brother Marc both began their football journeys through the Tadeco Sports Development Program, where they were able to develop their skills, build confidence, and pursue their passion for the sport.
Their hard work has opened new doors. Christian earned a scholarship to Adamson University and has continued his involvement in football as Coach Lee Christian Hayahay, returning to help guide and inspire younger players at Tadeco. Marc followed in his brother’s footsteps, receiving a scholarship to the Adamson Junior football team.
Marc's journey has continued to grow. Most recently, he was invited to the Philippine U17 National Team Camp for the ASEAN Boys’ Championships 2026, another exciting step toward the national stage.
At Uma Markets, we believe that creating opportunities for young people can have an impact that reaches far beyond one individual. Through our support of sports and education initiatives in Mindanao, we hope to help young athletes access the opportunities they need to develop their talents and imagine new possibilities for their futures.
The Hayhay brothers are a wonderful example of what can happen when opportunity, dedication, and community come together, and their story is still being written.
